Asus rog 9 pro external headset mic issue

I am connecting my external headphones via bluetooth to my rog 9pro and playing BGMI. When i try to speak with my teammates the audio is coming from device mic and not from external headphones mic. So, thats making me a problem as my teammates unable to hear my voice clearly. Any solution or suggestions

I've been seeing a lot of people having a similar issue in different phones and platforms, this might be an issue from the game developer side.
I can recommend you to try turning off microphone access and restarting the phone, then enabling it again and start the headset before starting the game.
