Thinking about changing to the rog phone 8

so I've been using my OPPO A12 for a long time by now and it's bad... so I've been thinking about changing to the ROG Phone 8 because i've been dreaming of having a beast phone, but i read alot of  complains that the ROG Phone 8 is a defective device and needs to be sent back for further improvement. Yes the price is unjustified for what you're getting but it's cheaper than last ROG Phone (7), im scared to change to the ROG Phone 8 now because of the negative reviews it got... even if i got it would it still be better than the Redmagic 9?

If you had a ROG in the past, the speakers, Air Triggers, build quality, and software quality are letdown.   I'm sending my in for warranty repair now because the back glass is bulging.  Asus might fix the software problems if we're lucky.

If you're coming from a phone that doesn't have those, it might be OK.

i also wanted to ask if the ROG Phone 8 would be a good daily driver, because if i wasn't using it for gaming, could it be  a good use of a daily use like watching, scrolling and etc?
