Battery drain could be because of the Android 15 update now optimizing in the background, if this continue it could be a good idea to do a factory reset to have a fresh install of the phone.
I worked on few settings in battery management and I guess Whatsapp is working fine but yet to test for long calls. But battery drain there overnight it drained almost 30 percentage.
