Android 15 Game Genie Issue

Game Genie has been broken since upgraded to Android 15.

Both the newest firmware and the previous version on Android 15 have the same issue.

When key mapping is enabled, option "Enhance pointer precision" is not effective. Toggling off this option does not disable mouse acceleration like it used to do.

There is no option to turn it off on system level as well.

I remember this being an issue on my ROG phone 1 years ago and they came out with the pointer precision in Game Genie and resolved it. Now with the newest upgrade it's broken again.

The recent firmware latterly always have issues here and there. On the latest Android 14 they broke monitor while docking, device will reboot after monitor is plugged in. (only happens on the new usbc dock, the old "rog professional dock" remains working)  This was resolved with the Android 15 upgrade and now mouse is broken.

My phone was purchased for gaming purpose only and now its completed useless.

Anyone planning on upgrade and cares about Game Genie, be caution.

This seems to be an Android issue instead of game genie issue.

With adb shell connected, key "pointer_acceleration" value does change from 3 to 1 when game genie activates, but does not change on how the mouse moves.

Bro just use panda mouse pro instead, it's cheap and good product, trust me

After updating to Android 15, the Game Genie overlay refuses to open while gaming.

Symptoms:

• Swiping to open the Game Genie panel doesn’t work.

• The shortcut button is missing in some games.

• Restarting the phone temporarily fixes it, but the issue returns.

What I Tried:
✔ Checked app permissions and enabled “Draw over other apps.”
✔ Cleared cache and app data for Game Genie.
✔ Reinstalled the latest system updates.

Possible Cause?
I recently bought a gaming controller from Goodwill Outlets and wonder if the external accessories are causing conflicts. Has anyone else faced this issue?

Game Genie’s Performance Boost feature isn’t increasing FPS as expected.

Details:

• Even in X Mode, frame rates remain low.

• Background apps are already disabled, so nothing should be slowing the game down.

• Other performance-related settings seem to be working fine, but FPS remains stuck.

Troubleshooting Attempts:

:white_heavy_check_mark:Disabled “Adaptive Refresh Rate.”
:white_heavy_check_mark:Tried multiple games, but all have the same issue.

Could It Be Hardware-Related?
I was checking replacement parts on **Goodwill Outlets  my device needs a cooling fan upgrade. Anyone else experiencing lower FPS even after using Game Genie?
