Is it possible to connect the rog 8 to the computer using a Qualcomm engineering cable, then bypass the bootloader in EDL mode and directly flash the machine, thereby unlocking the bootloader lock and completing root?

Doesn’t Qualcomm (Qualcomm EDL mode) claim that it can ignore the bootloader lock and then directly flash the phone to save the brick? That’s why I thought of this method and I don’t know if it can be used.

Thats a 9008 rom but for that you need a firehose file for it to use so you can root but that file has to be leaked first XD.

Nah bro, as far as I know the phone can't be rooted and they never announced a bootloader for it either.
