NFC completely refuses to work on my device, although bank cards are linked and the function itself is activated. I already did a hard reset, it didn't help. The following error message appears in the logs only every second when nfc app is activated (see screenshot). What I can do?

Then it is as you mentioned and it looks like it could be hardware failure.
I recommend contacting your closest ASUS Service Center for further assistance.

The latest one, with the January security patch. But it seems to me that the NFS cable has come loose in the phone itself.

@Art34222 Could you do the following test?
Go to the Calculator and type ".12345+="
In there you can do a "Single Test" and select "NFC Tag Reader Test" if you scroll down.
Test to see if you can recreate the issue.
