After searching the web, I'm well aware that the problem with the camera (macro not working, selfie camera not appearing randomly, and so on) is not an hardware problem but a software one. As well as the fingerprint failing recognition and the flashlight not working properly sometimes. I'm just wondering: this issue is from January 2024 and we are in April 2025, hasn't anyone still found a solution? Asus won't let us downgrade our phone to the precedent firmware. Nor they do provide a solution. If you're out of warranty (2 years in the EU), you have spent 1 200 € for a bricked phone. Should we take legal action towards Asus? This is called scum. Not programmed obsolecence, that is no more longer providing support to "old" (2/3 years...) devices; providing you a firmware that bricks your phone is essentially destroying it and forcing you to pay for the assistance or for a new phone. So, why instead of complaining everywhere that we won't buy anymore Asus products, don't we take legal actions?
Or, dear Asus, is it really hard to provide a new firmware that don't f++k up our motherboards?
I've been an owner of Asus laptops (F556UV and VivoBook 10), Asus ROG Phone 2, ROG Phone 3 and now ROG Phone 6, but I swear to the gods that this is the last drops from you.
Would it be so hard to fix a goddamn SOFTWARE problem with camera?
