Farzad0Sadly its sporadic and I from what I know there is no way to fully prevent it.@Danishblunt Is there any way to avoid IC failure, I never charged it overnight but I did charge it a few times a day up to 80% from around 30-60% and I had steady charging and had the charging limit set to 80%. So how can I avoid the same issue from happening?

FunBike31What controller? Do you have a link where I can buy it please?I'm not sure, but I won't be surprised if the cause is too high a voltage in certain ASUS chargers (failures on this charger are moreover quite frequently reported) this same circuit works without breakage in many other brands.
If the rog 6 sends too strong requests to the charger, this one is stupid and sends, so an asus software bug because I don't think that the firmware of the battery active when the device is off is in question.
a controller connected between the charger and the rog6 would be a good investment I think, without this device I would avoid using the ASUS charger of the rog 6 on, whatever the setting.
Waiting for response from @Danoisblunt , it might be more relevant
