Rog Phone 6 Pro from the UK, will it work in the US for T-Mobile?

I'm travelling to the US for a couple weeks on Tuesday and bought a SIM from a reputable website for T-Mobile, so I can have data and make calls. They told me that my phone wouldn't be compatible but when I looked up the IMEI of my phone on the T-Mobile website it says it's perfectly compatible. Was the company I purchased from incorrect or is there something else I need to be worried about?

If you go into Settings and press on the search bar and write "Model", it will show up which model of the phone you have, with that codename you can find if your version will work or not 🙂
