What's going on with the rog phone

The phone is not charging see screenshots below, I disconnected it from the charger it continues to be like this

Its not hardware issue, i am using asus zenfone 5z from past 33 months, and every time i disconnect power, phone showing charging for 20-30 second sometimes after 1 minute, its poor asus

Just because it happens to you too, doesn't make this normal. I have 10 different ASUS phones on my desk and this has never happened to me. If your phone is still within warranty then please visit a service center.

I am Zenfone 5z user and never faced such issue with my 2.8 years of Zenfone 5z journey. May be some third party app is triggering. Did you try factory data reset after you saw such issue?? If not please do it once before visiting service centre most of the times hard reset may fix such problems. And also make sure you are on latest firmware version i. E.. 123. (Android 10)
If still issue is same take your device to service centre as adviced by moderator.

I’m having a similar issue, the phone does not charge with the original charger, the icon appears as normal but it stays at the same level...
only happened today.. already restarted and its the same, the cable is okay
update: placed the charger on the freezer for 5 min and now it works fine... wth?? This phone sure as a mind of its own xD

Sounds like there's a circuit issue in your charger which got temporarily fixed by the freezer. All the connections contracts when exposed to the cold but if there's a bad soldering, then it will break once it gets hot again

does this updates fix the problem of Battery drain by Android OS, Android System, Mobile Network standby? Also the Excessive Heat from the device even with normal usage. I have these problem from the update WW-18.0840.2103.26
