Totally agree, and a small clarification, there was no change of motherboard on my Rog 5, just the Firmware Update .210 and the integrated Armory Create.
For the moment mine is in factory mode ready for sale, so I have nothing more installed but I think that we must obtain better performance with heavy games or leaving them from Armory Create, by activating X-mode and 120 fps
Anyway I think there is nothing to expect from Asus, I went up a list of bugs again after the .210 update and it's the great sidereal vacuum in response.
Now, I can't even use it in By-Pass since it's mandatory by integrating the applications in Armory Create and the latter now prevents any application overlapping.

Yes, activating X-Mode or using Advanced with Thermal Limit, CPU, GPU and RAM Performance all set to High was system wide before the update and used to apply to all games.
The CPU now never goes above 1.42GHz no matter what settings I use now. X-Mode, Dynamic, Ultra Durable, Advanced, Game Scenario Profile - Game Tuning Level 3, Hardcore Tuning with Thermal Limit, CPU, GPU and RAM Performance all set to High, all are bugged. There is no difference in performance or clock speed as I had mentioned before.
The only work around is through Advanced Hardcore Tuning to use the full 2.84GHz and I have to manually configure the setting for all games if I want to get the full performance.
Its been 12 days and I don't see any response from them yet and they call this pathetic piece of sh*t a gaming phone.
