They never clarified about their update schedule so judging by their past models it was 1 os upgrade and 2yrs of patches but Asus recently confirmed that rog 2 is getting android 11 (it's 2nd os version) so you can expect 2 android os versions for all future rog phones
2 os versions+2.5-3yrs of patches just like zenfone

Hope goes better with time, rog phone 5s is a great phone, much better than one plus 9 pro
