ROG Phone 5 suddenly blacks out and it's not functional

Before it happened I saw my phone at like 2% charge on battery so I decided to use the 65 watt hypercharge adapter that was included with the phone. After a few minutes later I decided to watch some youtube videos and then out of nowhere the phone's screen just blacked out. I unplugged it and tried to hold the power button and see if it forced itself to power down and reboot but it doesn't seem to be working. And the phone is constantly generating heat even when blacked out. I dunno if I am just screwed here but I dunno how to like properly turn the phone off and go to the recovery menu.

Well in that case you can visit it's service center. Mine also was dead. However they fixed the issue in 15 days and now it's working fine.

Actually I just visited the service center. Turns out that my phone can't be sent to a North America service center. So I gotta go do a china one, which is something I can't do because the giant language barrier. Really freaking sucks

I called rog5s dying but this is way faster than i predicted. Thought we would see dying phones 1year after release and not 3months.
