It is not a QR code but a 1D Barcode, EAN 13 probably.
There is no native software in Android to decode 1D codes, you need software that integrates this reading like Yuka, MyNetDiary, Lose It! for example for the food category, there are of course other categories such as Prixing for prices.
Anyway, 2D Barcodes, including the QR Code like the one in my post are also not decoded correctly, you have to go back to the beginning of Android and Smartphones without auto Focus to do so badly on reading codes bars.
You may have more luck than me to get an answer from Asus, I'm the only one I have when I submit a concrete Bug, I get the answer "Topic Closed"
