nightmaster552I use banking apps so that's why not rooting Asus. Anyways, did you face DRM L1 to L3 downgrade issue with the latest .122 update? Or are you currently using any custom rom?https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/145040#Comment_145040

Guess what, my phone despite being rooted, aside from black crush which tons of phones have nowadays (altho not as extreme as on Rog3) no issues and all working splendidly.

himverma2012I thought safety net covered most of the banking apps. Some apps like google pay still have the ways to detect root, but mostly safety net is working since the days I had galaxy note 5.https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/145079#Comment_145079

If I flash the latest .122 update via fastboot method, do you think I can regain L1 widevine security?

himverma2012My point wasnt that root = fix all your problems, infact rooting does mostly cause downgrade. My point being not all phones are messed up, the DRM thing happened for many phones, it wasnt exlusive to the Rog3 phones, you just got unlucky. And to answer your question, no the DRM thing never happened to me.https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/145079#Comment_145079
