Model Name: ROG 3
Firmware Version: Not Showing in settings
Rooted or not: No
Frequency of Occurrence: 24*7
APP Name & APP Version (If your issue relates to the app):
In addition to information above, please also provide as much details as you can, e.g., using scenario, what troubleshooting you've already done, screenshot, etc.
========================================
My phone was working perfectly fine up until the update ending with '.158' was installed. There are 2 major issue I have noticed and they're both pretty weird.
1. The side mounted USB port allows for the headphone to be connected and works perfectly when a headphone is connected but as soon as I connect the charging cable to it, it starts charging for a mili second and immediately stops charging. It gives the idea as if the port or the charger is busted.
However, the charger works perfectly in the bottom port and charges the phone.
2. Snapchat and Instagram have stopped recording videos in-app. Whenever I try to record a video through any of them, the app just clicks a picture instead. Also video calls on both app results in the person I am calling not being able to see my face.
However the problem seems to be only in these 2 apps since video calls work in Whatsapp, Telegram, etc. I am using latest updated versions of both apps.
Hopefully it's just a bug and can be resolved via an update but I'd appreciate any thoughts given as to why is this happening.

Gothindue to your version I assume you're talking about the Rog5, if that's the case it's to early to tell but mods have indicated that it might be the same production issue the early xiaomi mi 11 phones have faced, if that's the case then it should be permanently fixed after motherboard replacement. However due to this has happened after a specific update I can't help but feel a little sceptical right now.Hi i want to ask about wifi issue because update version.
My Phone version now is 18.0840.2107.151
Because of the update the wifi is off and i just from the forum, they keep said to change the motherborde
Can u suggest me than change motherborde cause i think even i change and there is update it will error again, right?

illixirTried Factory Reset. The problem with the Charging Port still exists. It works with other cable in my adapter and other adapter with my cable but I don't know why the phone stops taking charge as soon as the cable and charger both are connected to the side port.https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/185467#Comment_185467
Haven't yet. Will probably factory reset today and see if things change for better.

I am pretty sure at this point that it is not a port issue.
As for the problems with the apps, they are resolved now.

And I literally didn't understand anything of your issue, especially in the last post 🤔
