I decided to live with this but some of units have no issue why i wanna live with this issue for years so i try to get refund and but 12gb varient.
In YouTube crush issue is little low when compared to netflix and amazon prime ,rather than that this dev is beast 😍
I have noticed heat in aero active coller side(40°to43°) always while playing pupg at 90hz,balanced,extream . although I'm staying in AC room 22°c all time!

It would be an acceptable answer if all the apps had a brightness slider. The problem is far more pronounced on all other apps for eg. Amazon Prime Video. Even at full brightness the blacks seems to take the life out of everything, even the well lit scenes. If it's an hardware issue it would be appreciated if the makers can accept that. Otherwise a quick resolution is needed.

This is the effect of HDR (that everybody wants). If a phone supports HDR then the scenes gets much darker compared to phones that do not support HDR.

So that means it ain't rog fault but rather these video providers side issue?

So far this is our observation with Netflix. I can't speak for other providers since we're still investigating

Sir , as far i recall you said the same i.e " we are doing investigations on the matter of this Red tint issue " ( for Rog 2 )its like a year nearly and still no actual reply from your team ..
Can we expect that this issue as reported by many users , will be fixed in near future or this time too we have to compensate on it

Need immediate OTA fix for Black Crush. Literally the Dark scene videos are make us disappoint that we invested 50k in this phone. Seriously, what kind of Quality control you have is an issue of INVESTIGATION. You guys must have to look after it before launching a flagship costly phone. We better need refund than replacement.

Hi, actually this black crush issue is not limited to just Netflix. All the apps like instagram,Facebook,YouTube ,even our photos gallery is showing the same black crush issue.
Also, please verify asap if it's the hardware or software issue as we might need a replacement for the phone we received if it's a hardware issue.
And as far HDR goes, this is the worst HDR experience I have ever got on a smartphone.
Thanks.

There's a lot of difference between dark scenes in HDR and the issues we are facing. We have seen other HDR displays and haven't faced such issues.
Keep aside the other apps, even the native video player from Gallery app is having the same issue.
