ZT-5926e239Its most likely caused by the fact that the power IC handles 20v extremely poorly. People who don't use 20v chargers do not see dead phones. Will ASUS do something to those affected by that glitchy software that caused motherboard issues? its hard to say that it is not their fault, many reports of same issue across ROG 2, 3 and 5 for motherboard failures for that past months. Luckily for the others that they still have warranty, but for those who don't they are getting left behind.

DanishbluntI never used different charger for my ROG 3, I always used the stock charger, and I wasn't even charging it when it died like out of nowhere.https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/206982#Comment_206982
