Hi,
like some of the other users here, since last saturday i have an issue with my rog phone 3 strix edition. The phone app is not responding anymore when calling and crashes the system even after a factory reset, also the sim card and imei are not accessible and trying to access the sim card blacks out the options but does not crash the phone. Apart from that the phone runs perfectly fine and turning mobile data off and removing the card seems to alleviate the issue somewhat though random crashes still occur at a greatly reduced rate.

A factory reset has already been done. Once i got it to work by putting the sim card into my samsung tablet, putting it back and writing an sms. Then it worked fine for about 6 hours, now the messages app blocks me from doing that stating i need to put in a sim card. This leads me to believe it might be a software related issue but it could also just be random. The sim card runs fine on a different phone and the problem persists with a different known good sim card. My next step would be trying a sim card from a different provider, which i have not done yet. I once accidentally hit the emergency call button which made the phone crash as well.
I'm still saving up for the current version of the phone, so any help postponing it's end of life would be greatly appreciated since i dont really want to switch brands right now but i would be forced to do that if i had to replace it right now.
