Perfectly normal. I freaked out too when i held it for the 1st time while it was charging but then i read on this forum that it's because of the hypercharging feature, so a serious toasty feeling is sadly unavoidable. You can aim a fan at it to keep it cool though. That's what i do.

You can try slow charging method. It might help reducing the temp while charging.

If you are coming from a phone with normal charging or slow charging this behavior is normal.
ROG Phone 3 comes with 30W fast charger, a little heat is completely normal.
