This is the 2nd replacement I got for asus rog 3. I thought this phone was going to a beast but trust me Its worse than my old note 8 phone. Their software sucks .
Mic issues during gameplay , other person cant hear u properly
Phone freeze
Air trigger stops working in the middle of gameplay
Touch latency
Headphone jack glitch
Stop advertising it as powerful gaming phone.
It might have great hardware but when it comes to software you firmware is trash

The phones fine, it sounds like you've got a Tencent model flashed with a WW rom, which from what I've seen causes ALOT of issues.
Either flash the China rom, or return it and buy a proper WW/global phone and it'll fix your problems.
As someone that's owned a note 8, the Samsung software sucks so much compared to stock android
