This is the 2nd replacement I got for asus rog 3. I thought this phone was going to a beast but trust me Its worse than my old note 8 phone. Their software sucks .
Mic issues during gameplay , other person cant hear u properly
Phone freeze
Air trigger stops working in the middle of gameplay
Touch latency
Headphone jack glitch
Stop advertising it as powerful gaming phone.
It might have great hardware but when it comes to software you firmware is trash

Sounds like you've got a Tencent model flashed with the global rom, which causes A LOT of issues from what I've seen.

Either flash the non WW rom or return it and get a *proper* WW/Global version and it'll fix your issues.

User here told me walmart sells tencent flashed with global rom. Dno if its true but i wouldnt be suprised at this point.

Probably scamphone. I have no such issues and you having the same issues on your 2nd unit makes the whole thing much more scetchy.
