What's the meaning that ROG 3 will get Android update after ROG5. If u can update regularly then why do you release next version...??? I bought flagship ROG3 n still no update. There is no mean providing top notch hardware with pathetic update service. That all becomes meaningless. 56 K ROG 3 doesn't support jio volte video calling, n others people are using volte video calling on 6k mobile (Poco, Vivo, Oppo). It has been 9 month that ASUS ROG people working on developing software. Does it really takes that much to update VOLTE video calling...??? Dear, Asus ur app service is really disappointing. At least provide basic video VOLTE (JIO) calling feature.
.
It's my huble advice, ASUS SHOULD WIN TRUST OF CUSTOMER FIRST RATHER THAN GETTING BUSY IN ATTRACTING NEW CUSTOMER. We are here to update truth of ur SERVICE.

VoLTE and ViLTE services aren't only turned on by Asus. Your mobile service provider must also support it and have it activated for each type of handset. You will find that they normally only do this for the phones they provide from their shops and ones that providers of phones work on getting activated. Remember there is lots of providers all around the world they have to do this on. Not just the one your on.

Asus must then release a firmware to activate it for each carrier that now supports the handset. A simple Google search will tell you all about this.

As for the patching, a quarterly upday schedule for security patches outside of major bug fixes (IE the recent fix for HD playback with Widevine) is perfectly acceptable. I for one would rather wait for a more polished Android 11 update than a buggy one.

It has been 7 month. I cn understan about Android 11 update it may take time. But its, hard to deal with basic calling feature like ViLTE ( for various people from contact list). Everytime swapping app for video calling is really irritating. I hv to plan first to call as per app.... Sad.

N still if u think 7 month are less to develop ViLTE feature, then its meaningless.
.
N why ASUS launch their device with support of third party feature. Cant they develop first n then launch...???
.
Its basic FEATURE, why cant Asus team understands....??? I would be happy if i can raise my issue with Asus india head, but i dont hv that option. Why should we compromise with Whatsapp, duo or third party app after paying 56,999/- rs...??? Already privacy issue is going with whatsapp.
.
Wake up.

After turning this "carrier video calling" option on, I'm now able to make direct video call from Google dialer. Sim2 has jio in my phone. With airtel, neither this "carrier video calling" nor "wifi calling" is enabled. These two options don't exist in airtel,But as per the officials the VoWifi for airtel will be rolling out anytime soon. So, let's see.

I have done same settings dear, but it's a Google dialer that takes u duo app for video calling. What if d person whom u calling dont hv duo app....??? Its not possible for everybody. Asus doesn't provide videos calling option in their dialer. That's what m saying.
