After updating to A11. realised my phone is unable to do hyper charge with the original charger, it only does fast charging.
Have tried clearing cache. anyone has any other suggestions?

Try to look on ur lock screen
2 lightning outside battery means hypercharge, meanwhile 1 lightning and ++ inside battery is fast charging


But its true on settings its shown as fast charging, not hypercharge..
I forgot how it is in a10..

As for charging time i dont feel any different tho..
Well, bcause i left it while i sleep..
And i always use bypass charging while gaming..

hmm, if so, then ASUS would have swapped the icons. on A10 it was lightning and 2+ for hyper charge.

I can confirm what @Razgriz stated: when hyper charging, it will state as such on the lock screen but the settings menu says "fast charging".
I don't know if the settings in Android 10 ever said "hyper charging" there, since I never really noticed it before.
However, the estimated time for a full charge is still much shorter for hyper charging (:high_voltage::high_voltage:) than for fast charging (:high_voltage:++). Which is what really matters.
