same issue here. i downloaded it via pc and transferred the update file on my internal storage and it says update failed after the phone detects it.

has anyone else here managed to update manually?

P.S.: I didn't remove "new" from the end. Renamed again, removed "new", update working now! Thanks xcatz!

Asus has updated its direct link now and it works now. Its increased from 2.55GB to 2.7GB
