Why i cant update my phone? Is this upgradable to marshmallow to pie? I try to check update but after to check update, it stop. Pls help me thank you all!

I am using ZenFone 5 lite and want to know that when will the Asus team release the android pie update. On other devices of other companies,the android 10 update has been launched and I am still using android N please confirm me the date

My max pro m1 6GB ram got damn slow after auto update to android pie 9 and subsequent updates. I have 3 gb free ram all the time and 35 gb storage free on my device. Did try all the options suggested by customer care except factory reset. Any suggestion to improve upon or straight go for factorry reset and enjoy original android 8 version.
