Hi Community,
Have you ever been unsure wheather your device has installed the latest system? After you go to "system update" and tap "check update", the device should show "The system is up to date". Before sleeping, you close your eyes and still ask yourself: Has my device really gotten the latest firmware?
Due to various reasons such as unlocking, rooting, or flashing custom rom, sometimes your device will not receive FOTA properly. Please note that all available firmware versions are listed on ASUS website, you may follow the below steps if you want to double check.
*CAUTION: Please read the firmware description under the download spot carefully before you perform any update/downgrade steps. Any mistake may cause device crash or system death permanently.
1. Visit ASUS official website
https://www.asus.com/Mobile/Phones/All-series/
2. Tap "Magnifier icon"> Key in "Model name"> "Driver & Tools"> "BIOS &FIRMWARE"
