I have an asus RT-AX86U main router, and an asus RT-AX56U wifi-connected mesh router associated with it. Both with latest firmware. I have syslog configured on the RT-AX86U, port 515, and the logs are able to be captured successfully on the syslog server. There are two issues.
1: All the syslog entries are labeled as if they originate from the mesh node.
2: If the mesh node is powered down, all logging ceases until the mesh node is powered back up.
Are these known issues and are there fixes? (particularly concerned with the mesh dependency issue)
