actually I'm using IPv4 - I've got a cable modem in front of the and 2x RTAX92U.
My cable modem (192.168.178.1) is connected to the WAN port of the mesh head (192.168.178.2).
The local mesh DHCP is configured for IP range 192.168.111.0/24
Now I'm trying to switch to IPv6 as my provider is assigning an iPv6 address to me for internet connection and I want to configure remote access.
I configured my cable modem to have IPv4 and IPv6 active. Both protocolls got IPs assinged.
I tried to configure RTAX92U WAN interface to use IPV6 address, but it seems I can only enter an IPv4 as a static address (in my case 192.168.178.2 and 192.168.178.1 as standard gateway).
(cable modem) -> (RTAX92 Meshhead WAN) -> (DHCP wireless and LAN)
Questions:
1. Is there a way to have the WAN interface configured to a static IPv6.
2. Does my setup make any sence in terms of switching to IPv6 or should I reconfigure the network to have all clients and cable modem in the same subnet?
3. I prefer to actually have IPv6 and IPv4 is this possible with the actual setup.
