I have an Asus rt-n66r set up as a repeater connected to an Xfinity cable modem via wifi.
Unfortunately the repeater keeps disconnecting from devices that connect to it. I have read the troubleshooting document about this and my guess is that it is caused by the band steering on the Xfinity modem.
Regardless of if i set the Asus rt-n66r to connect to the 2.4 or 5ghz of the modem this disconection of devices occurs.
Is there anyway to connect a rt-n66r to both both bands of the modem. The troubleshooting document shows a screenshot that shows it is possible, but I cant figure out how to make it happen, is this possible with the RT-N66R.
Could you explain it to me please.
