I have a problem with the RT-BE58U. When my Zenfone 10 is connected via WiFi 7, the internet connection keeps dropping. This only happens with an MLO connection. The Zenfone is connected to WiFi. At some point, it disconnects and reconnects. After that, it works again for a while. This doesn't happen when MLO is disabled. Devices without WiFi 7 don't have this issue.

I just got my BE58U but my phone has only 6E. I didn't face any issue with a MLO SSID due to the fact that my phone doesn't have WiFi 7.  Can you screenshot your MLO SSID settings details from the app or  the web ui?

When MLO is disabled, everything works, and the internet doesn't drop out intermittently. While the internet is down, I can still access the router. So, the connection is working. Only the internet isn't getting through. The Zenfone is the only device on the network with Wi-Fi 7. All the others don't have any issues with disconnections. I'm almost convinced the Zenfone is the problem.

Hi @kleiderhaken ,

Thank you for your inquiry.

To better understand the Zenfone 10 connection issue you are experiencing, please perform the following tests and provide information:

  1. Firmware version confirmation: Is your router firmware updated to the latest version?
  2. Device test confirmation: Does this problem only occur with the Zenfone 10? If you have other devices, we recommend testing them as well and providing the test results.
  3. Problem start time confirmation: Did this problem occur immediately after you purchased the router? Or did this problem occur after you recently performed any updates?
  4. Router reset test: We recommend that you try performing a hard reset on the router and then reconfiguring it to confirm whether the problem still exists.
  5. System problem report: If the problem still exists after resetting, please assist in using the system's built-in problem reporting function to submit the relevant information.

Please follow the steps below to report the issue, and we will assist you:

  1. Connect your device (PC, laptop, etc.) to the router, then open the Web management interface (http://router.asus.com/) and log in to your router.
  2. Click on "System Administration" and select "Problem Report."
  3. Fill in your region, email address (required), ASUS service/case number, issue type, and a description of the issue.
  4. Please read and agree to the privacy policy and relevant service terms.
  5. Click "Send" to submit your form.

Additionally, please send us the following information via private message: product serial number, the time the problem report was submitted, the email used for the problem report, the time the issue occurred, the MAC address of your device, and a network architecture diagram of your current environment.

If your network is down, the UI page will generate a link for downloading offline data. Please click the link to download the data, compress it into a ZIP file, and provide a cloud link for us to analyze.

Thank you for your cooperation.
