Problem converting a BE3600 into a mesh node.

PRroblem: converting RT-BE3600 into a mesh node.

The mesh system is started with a AX86U Pro as the primary and one each of a AX58U node and an AX1800S another node.

The final router is the RT-BE3600, but I can’t get it turned into a node. I’ve hit all sorts of blocking. One block holding up my process says, “Remote Connection unavailable”. I tried digging in to that and encounter a reference, ‘Upgrade the Certificate”. 

1) Am I, on the right track, if not, now what? 2) Where can I find an easy to follow certificate process tutorial for a Mac.

Simply stated, the process was too complex for me making the 3600 useless for me. The store knew nothing of the process and I gave them the 3600 and got a full refund
