Following a firmware upgrade (DSL_AC88U) on October 22 there is no longer any list displaying lan client addresses and information. Enabling Guest WiFI  did not fix . Big problem. Any ideas welcome thanks.

Also....is this forum the best way of lodging a suspected firmware bug ?

The model you have, DSL-AC88U, is listed on ASUS' End Of Life (EOL) list.  Unless it was purchased within the warranty timeframe ASUS may not provide support for this issue I'm afraid:

The DSL-AX82U may be a fitting upgrade...

I'm not sure which country you/your router is running, otherwise I can link the BIOS here.  You would need to log into the web interface and manually upload the firmware.  http://router.asus.com .  I believe it is under Advanced Settings -> Administration -> Firmware Upgrade (tab) -> Choose File (button) .  You would then select the firmware version file you want to install.

Thanks for these suggestions @jzchen they've produced some good lines of enquiry.  I'm not keen to experiment with other firmware that has any chance of bricking my router...so my current thinking is to learn to live with this bug and rely on a third party lan sniffer to provide the info I need.

Cheers
