I've the got the RT-BE92U however this query isn't really model specific.
How would one go about blocking a URL that uses HTTPS? For example tiktok. Block all access at router level for any connected device.
The URL filter doesn't work as the site uses HTTPS. Perhaps naively I assumed this would be fairly simply from a router of this calibre!

@Aureliannn_ASUS these are not tests but incorrect instructions. Perhaps I didn't make my query clear. The router URL filter list only blocks HTTP traffic, it has no impact on encrypted or compressed HTTPS sites, of which Tiktok is just one example.
Parent controls and content filtering is not what I am seeking here. I am asking if it is possible to block at router level an HTTPS site? My reading suggests it is not.

Correct. With DNS over HTTPS having become standard there's nothing that this type of url blocking can do.
You could try some DNS service that incorporates filtering, but a connected client can normally change to another DNS provider as well.
