My ASUS guest network assigns IP addresses that are not on the same subnet as my actual network (xxx.xxx.101.xxx vice xxx.xxx.1.xxx)
How can I tell what the actual IP address of the device is as advertised to the outside world?
Thank you.

As I understand the WAN address assigned to the router is what the outside sees, and when data is transmitted to the router the router uses NAT to send it to the correct LAN device.

@jzchen, thanks for that. Any idea how to determine the IP address inside my network? I ask because my router does not seem to "know".
Thanks again!

My bad. Dumb follow-on question of mine.
