Firmware 388 for ZenWiFi ET8?

Why no update to the 388 branch of firmware for ZenWiFi ET8?  Most other current ASUS routers have had this update but the ET8 has not had a firmware update in almost a year!  

Is the ET8 ASUS' forgotten or abandoned device?
