Catch all outbound DNS traffic

Online sources mention a DNS filter option in Asus routers to reroute all DNS traffic on port 53 to a single DNS IP address on the LAN. This is to prevent LAN clients from circumventing custom DNS servers such as a local Pi Hole. With my old router on DD-WRT this was a simple routing rule but my Asus ET8 on the latest firmware doesn't seem to have that option. Is that correct? If so then please read this as a feature request. Would be even better to have a professional routing tab where all sorts of routes can be added. Under water the router already supports this so it's technically just a matter of integrating it into the interface.

I ended up flashing GNUton's Asus Merlin firmware. It has a DNS redirect built in and it's been rock solid for about 12 hours now.
