AXE6600 ET8 6Ghz issue

Hello All, I am facing a weird issue. I have 4 Asus ET8 setup as a route and yhe rest nodes. Back haul via ethernet connected to a gig switch. It use to work perfectly where all the bands were showing. 2Ghz, 5Ghz and 6Ghz and I had my phone connected to the 6Ghz and showing 6E and if I would move around the house it would transfer the phone to different nodes. Recently I started noticing that even though the wifi 6Ghz is enabled only the ET8 that assets as the main router works with 6Ghz the nodes don't work for 6Ghz it will not display it but setting shows that it's enabled and on.  When I go close to the main router ET8 it connects to 6Ghz instantly. Not sure what is happening and my suspension is something was messed up.after a firmware update came thru. Any assistance would be appreciated. I did a factory reset and still the same.

Hello I actually downgraded all 4 of my ET8 after doing a factory reset to the mentioned firmware on this post and it was doing the same thing so it didn't help.at all.

I wonder if downgrading the AXE-11000 is required too...

Either way, I reached out to Asus on Facebook Messenger and they have opened a case number to escalate to the senior technical team. We'll see if it goes anywhere.

I have had a pair of ET8 for quite some time now.  The node has never properly connected via 6ghz, no matter what device I use and how close I get to it.  The node is connected by a Cat 6A cable that is the same as what we cabled our office with.  ASUS has never been any help in getting the node to work as 6E.  My newest laptop is wifi 7 capable and our others and our phones are 6E.  None work with the node.  After replacing another laptop with one that is wifi 7, will probably also replace ASUS mesh with another brand wifi 7 mesh.

My need is for high speed wifi to move content to and from three large NAS systems daily.  Having to use ethernet is a pain.

Do not expect any resolution to this problem many people continue to have with this ASUS system, regardless of what firmware is used.

You can try to manual set the 6G channel and not tick the PSE.

I've attempted that and it didn't work for me
