Hello, I've got a 3 node ASUS AX6600 Zen WiFi AX network which has been working for many years.
Recently two of the 3 nodes are not working- the LEDs cycle between colors.
I've followed the online guides to try to factory reset and I cannot reconnect to them with the Asus app.
Not sure what to do next.

The specific color pattern is supposed to indicate what "mode" the router is in. What are they?
When you mean reconnect are you trying to add them back as AiMesh nodes? (This is what I assume you'd mean but just clarifying).

Thank you. The color pattern was cycling between various colors over a few minutes.
I tried a hard reset and then added one node back via AiMesh and that has worked so far. I need to do the 3rd node but I think the same procedure should work.
I guess I'm surprised/disappointed that the node failed on its own somehow. I dont really understand how/why that would happen.
