ASUS RT-ax68u new firmware, BRICKS aimesh, loses all nodes, cant readd AVOID

Star I

ATTEMPT 3 to upgrade firmware

ASUS RT-AX68U Firmware version,

Garbage firmware, just wasted 3 hours of troubleshooting.

- Improved AiMesh backhaul stability. is in the notes LOL. Ethernet backhaul is completly broken, nodes wont connect, try to only conect with 2.4, but terrible connection even when 5 feet away.

2 rx55 aimeshed to a ax68u.... just updated because it was a new update and saw some fixes that would be nice. Took down the whole system. Hard reset all 3, started from scratch, ETHERNET BACKHAUL does not work, either with the feature in "on mode" or simply choosing the priority backhaul.... it grabs the connection and loses.

Back to old firmware, ASUS RT-AX68U Firmware version, back in the game.
