Asus RT-87ACU starts hanging of times per day after firmware update

After upgrading Asus RT-87ACU firmware to latest,

3.0.0.4.382_52545-ga0245cc version

router stops several times per day: network and wifi connection are lost. They are restored only after switching power off.

How to make router work without interruption again?

Those temperatures should be fine.  Mine run 50 °C, 72 °C, and 86 °C under full load of 15+ connected devices.  At these temperatures, my device has been stable for a week now.

Did you try a factory/hard reset?

Hi!

As I wrote, invoking factory reset command in GUI does nothing: it shows reset thermometer but after that old settings appear. Router log file shows that reset command is skipped, no reason provided.
