Asus router RT-AC68U generate wifi IP-address 10.5.0.2 instead of 192.168....

Why is it so? The router has always used 192.168.... until now.

I realized what's going on. My VPN-service (NordVPN) adapter assigned the IP-address 10.5.0.2 even the the VPN-service was disconnected.

Are you confident that the device doesn't have a manually assigned address, or is actually connecting to a different network?

i am connected to my wireless network, im sure of that. I have not, to my knowledge assigned addresses manually. How can I check that in my router?
