Asus Mesh not internet on one node throw 5g

Problem like this https://zentalk.asus.com/t5/networking/asus-mesh-not-internet-on-one-node/td-p/398993

I'm running an ASUS Mesh Wifi with RT-AX59U and RT-AX55 routers connected via ethernet cable with the RT-AX59U being the main router which is connected to the fibre ONT and thus having the main internet connection.

If roaming through my house, and my phone connects to the secondary (RT-AX55) node, it has internet connection. If I however move closer to the main router (RT-AX59U), it connects to the router, but drops internet packets is timeout. But i  have connection to local resources.

When i renamed 5g SSID, i understand, that problem have only at 5g wifi. At 2.4g no problem.

I tried delete aimesh RT-AX55, it is no resolving problem.

I kindle submited a feedback form Web GUI, but have solution like disable parent control, what never been enabled.

RT-AX59U 3.0.0.4.388_33404-gb97158e

RT-AX55 3.0.0.4.386_52332-gfbf3b9c

@Cobitechguy  how you resolved this problem?

It may not fix the problem, but worth a try.  Have you tried enabling Ethernet Backhaul Mode?

On the ASUS WebGUI

Under General -> AiMesh -> System Settings (tab) -> toggle Ethernet Backhaul Mode ON, if not already ON...

Those two firmwares are very new...

Is SmartConnect ON, then turn OFF, if SmartConnect OFF, then try turning it ON.

It may be a bug with these new firmwares.

Thank for reply. SmartConnect was disabled. When i enabling, problem still exist.
But, when i poweroff RT-AX55, wi-fi 5g from RT-AX59U working correctly. About firmwares, i updated because for default firmware was this problem.

I apologize. I mixed up the cables, which created a loop, so 5g didn’t work, it’s strange that 2.4 worked.

@jzchen thank you for help, you gave me the idea to check everything.
