I have 2 RT-BE58U's in AiMesh using ethernet backhaul. I bought these for the AiMesh to extend wifi.
I have 9 devices running in guest networks, none of them can connect to the guest networks on the node but everything can connect on the primary router.
If I turn off the node the 9 devices can connect to the primary router weakly, but drop often.
The node is between the primary router and the devices, when I turn the node on, the 9 devices cannot reach the primary router and cannot connect to the node.
The main wifi account is accessible through the node, just the guest accounts are not accessible.
All hardwired devices work properly on both the primary router and the node.

First please check if you have the correct latest firmware based on HW Version:
HW V2.0 latest is 3.0.0.6.102_39476
HW VA1 latest is 3.0.0.6.102_39263
The cable connects both routers directly? (No switches)?
What happens if you try to connect a mobile device to the node Guest Network (GN)? Does it say password incorrect or unable to connect?

It appears you are using wireless backhaul between the two meshed routers. You may have them separated too far apart or have interference between the path of the two routers. When your wireless devices connect, it interferes with the wireless backhaul between the two routers. You could try turning off automatic backhaul in favor of selecting a wireless band manually. However, the best solution is connecting both routers by Ethernet cable as you have and using Ethernet backhaul. Be sure to have Ethernet backhaul only turned on in the Online GUI. If you have this turned on, try changing ports or using a different Ethernet cable.

Hi jzchen and Alex52,
Thanks for trying to help.
Both routers are V2 and using the latest firmware - 3.0.0.6.102_39476-gc6e3064_1362-g913c9_BB0C.
Yes 1 cable (CAT 5 e), no switch or anything in between the main router and node.
AiMesh/ System Settings Ethernet Backhaul Mode switch set to on.
AiMesh/ Topology/ Node/ Backhaul Connection Priority set to Auto (Ethernet-Based).
Trying to connect a mobile device gets these "couldn't get IP address" or "connection failed".
Changing LAN ports gets the same failure.
As of now everything on the node works except the guest networks, The main wifi connects instantly, all LAN ports work and connect to an 8 port switch and individual computers, so the connection between the main router and the node is established, just no guest wifi on the node.

BE routers ship with a Cat 6 cable. This could be your problem.
