As the headline states 5G network has stopped working after a recent outage at my adress.
If I go to the router settings on everything appears to be working. In the app on my phone nothing works.
When I connect to the 5G network it cuts out after a couple of seconds and then only displays as connected without internet.
Things I've tried to get it working:
• restarted router
• reset to default
• reseated and switched out cat cables
• updated firmware
• checked with my ISP provider, they concluded that it was nothing on their end
My router is an ax82U
Does anyone have an idea of anything I might be able to do?

Try switching Authentication method to WPA2/WPA3 Personal.

I had it set to wpa2 personal, changing to wpa3 didn't fix it unfortunately

One or the other works on most devices. I have had one device: iPad Air 2 which requires WPA2, then on the other side my wife’s work laptop requires WPA3 to connect…
There’s a combo mode which I found helps with compatibility:
“WPA2/WPA3-Personal”
Please try it and report…

After trying that and googling around some more to no avail I decided to bite the bullet and start from scratch. Everything works now after I set up a new network
