After update mentioned in title, Steam does not start. Error message: steam webhelper not responding.
the following workaround does the job: during steam start, I monitor steam processes, as soon as steamwebhelper.exe shows up: I suspend steam.exe. When steamwebhelper.exe has fully started up (RAM usage stabilised), I resume steam.exe. Then steam starts up properly.
but even then some games don’t work properly. In particular, Space Marine 2 does not start, is not responsive.
before the update everything was fine. Now, after revering the update by windows fresh install, everything works fine again.
