Hi,
I'm here from Pakistan and recently purchased a new Asus Tuf Gaming B550 Plus Wifi II motherboard. When I registered it on my Asus website its warranty shows expired. However, the manufacturing date mentioned on the box is November 2023. I matched the Serial Number printed on box with the one printed on motherboard; both are the same. But the serial number with CMD command wmic baseboard get product, Manufacturer, version, serialnumber is different and only numeric characters.
Can somebody guides me why the warranty is expired for the new motherboard and why the serial is different on CMD command?

I finally got the reply. My vendor purchased it from the official distributor for Asus in Pakistan and they provide a local warranty of 1 year. Asus customer support has replied the same.

Hi masim5722,
That sounds frustrating! There could be a mistake with the registration. Asus warranty typically starts from the purchase date, not manufacturing. I'd recommend contacting Asus support with your purchase receipt and serial number. They can investigate the discrepancy and hopefully get your warranty activated.
