Inserted 14th cpu on motherboard without updating the bios

Inserted 14th cpu on motherboard without updating the bios,motherboard need bios update to run 14th gen, I forgot and turn on got no image, should I worry?

Could you please let us know the model of the motherboard and CPU you are currently using?
In general, if the difference between BIOS versions is not significant, the system should still be able to boot even if the CPU is installed with a non-corresponding BIOS version. However, if the version gap is too large, it may result in boot failure or other related issues.
Therefore, regardless of whether the system can boot, we would still recommend updating to the required or latest BIOS version to ensure the best compatibility and stability between the hardware components.
