Hi,
I bought the Asus Z170 Pro Gaming motherboard in 2015.
I updated BIOS to last version (Z170-PRO-GAMING-ASUS-3805.CAP) and I'm not able to find the PCH-FW ConfiGuration menu to activate TMP 2.0.
My aim goal is to understand if I'm would be able to get Windows 11 compatibility.
Reading Asus Motherboards ready for Win 11, I'm not sure to understand if this motherboard can have this configuration available.
Could you help me to understand what is the current status?
Many thanks for the assistance.
Kind regards,
Orlando

Hello @madjo1983
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Regarding the Z170 PRO GAMING model, as described in the user manual, you will need to install the TPM module and proceed to enable the setting when it is detected in the BIOS.
As for the 'Asus Motherboards Ready for Windows 11:
The following motherboards are compatible with Windows 11 under current testing. The upgrability is subject to the support from operation system or 3rd party drivers availability.
You can refer to the drivers released on the Z170 PRO GAMING official website, which are without Windows 11 version support.
Thank you.

Hi!
Thanks for the feedback.
I was not aware that I would need an extra chip to be plugged into the motherboard.
I still have a doubt:
When I see this product for example:
and the schema:
the pins do not match the Z170 documentation:
As I already bought a chip that is not compatible with the motherboard, could you please help me understanding if the Asus documentation is 100% accurate?

Hello @madjo1983
Kindly refer to the specifications provided in the user manual as the primary reference.
If any additional modules you purchased are incompatible with the motherboard's specifications, we recommend consulting the motherboard manual to guide your selection and ensure compatibility.
Thank you for your understanding.
