I have connected my Hard Drive to the power supply and motherboard and it is not showing in BIOS or disk management.
I have tried:
- enabling CSM
- changing SATA port, I have tried each one
- checked the cables and made sure they are connected properly
- the hard drive was working on my previous pc and it is making a sound while the pc is turned on and is booting so it seems as if it is not dead (yet x_x)
PC:
- power supply: Corsair 850W Gold
- hard drive: western digital 1tb (it is 5 years old :d)

Hello @ketus
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Based on your description, it is likely that this issue may be related to hardware abnormalities or aging of the HDD.
Could you please cross-test with a different HDD to determine if it can be correctly recognized in the BIOS or OS?
If the issue is specific to the HDD itself, we recommend contacting your reseller or the HDD manufacturer for further assistance with repair or data recovery.
Thank you.
